Where does the time go? While on a family vacation to Hawaii, we got engaged on January 11, 2021—casually, on the beach, with hopeful hearts, a shared dream of growing together and uniting our families. Two children, another one on the way, and five years later, we’re finally making it official.
In the same spirit as our engagement, we’re planning a beach gathering that’s intentionally relaxed and heartfelt. Our goal is simple: to bring family and friends together, giving everyone a reason to reconnect and spend meaningful time with the people they love.
We’d love for you to be there with us.
Kindly reply by March 1st.
When: Friday June 5, 2026 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Where: 21005 Indianola Rd NE, Poulsbo, WA 98370
We’re hosting an open house so our guests can see where we live and spend some relaxed time together. This will be a casual gathering with brunch available for you to enjoy while you catch up with family and friends. If the weather cooperates, you’re welcome to wander down to the beach—mostly rocky and muddy with a few sandy spots.
When: Saturday June 6, 2026 3:00 PM - 8:00 PM
Where: 7211 NE William Rogers Rd, Indianola, WA 98342
We’re planning a simple, comfortable, and warm beach-lot celebration where family and friends can gather in one place and surround us as we get married. We’ll be hosting food and drinks, featuring a buffet-style taco bar with appetizers and dinner. A tent will be set up for weather coverage, there will be bathrooms on site and the area is primarily grass and gravel.
The beach—both rocky and sandy—is directly accessible, and with low tide there will be plenty of room to explore and play. Because the weather can be unpredictable—anything from warm and sunny to cold and rainy—we recommend dressing in layers. For children who may get wet, having extra clothes on hand is a good idea.

We recommend looking for nearby accommodations in and around Indianola, with many great options just a short drive away. Airbnb and vacation rentals are widely available in Indianola, Kingston, Suquamish, and Poulsbo. Other local options include the Suquamish Clearwater Casino Resort. Poulsbo offers two convenient hotels, as well as several charming bed and breakfasts throughout the area for a more intimate stay.
Red box on map.
Suquamish, WA – Very close, just southwest of Indianola.
Kingston, WA – A few miles north of Indianola.
Poulsbo, WA – Nearest large town near Indianola.
Bainbridge Island / Winslow, WA – Across Port Madison to the south/southwest.
Requires a ferry ride.
We recommend avoiding accommodations on the Seattle side, as they require a ferry crossing or a very long drive. Google Maps, hotel, and rental sites don’t always account for this and may suggest options that appear nearby but actually involve significant travel time.
